Defense Innovation Unit Flying to Close Drone Gap

​In November, the Defense Innovation Unit held its first annual Blue UAS Refresh challenge, which consisted of some 150 drone flights by more than 30 domestic and international vendors hoping to impress U.S. military evaluators.
