JMSDF begins SeaGuardian UAV assessment

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) has commenced trials of the General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc (GA-ASI) MQ-9B SeaGuardian medium altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (MALE UAV) from the service’s Hachinohe Air Base in northern Honshu on 9 May.
